Do you have a Tesco club card

Signed up today for one as loads of offers in store but you had to have a Clubcard but don't quite know what it's for. Had a look on the app and still no wiser. Is it like the boots advantage card?

Brilliant! I wish I would have signed up sooner now. I saved nearly £11 on my shop today

You would have got points and vouchers if you'd signed up earlier, but the Clubcard prices are a new thing in the last month or so.

Does anyone know how long the discounts are for? I heard it’s temporary? I don’t want a clubcard and the non discounted prices are v expensive

Clubcards are free, throw it away if you don't want if after the offers tbh it's a bit of a no brainer to get one

The points can be a lot, I’ve paid for mobile phones with them, or most of Xmas presents, for English heritage and merlin annual memberships, there’s lots of different options, but they can amount to a lot of money, to me, and I shop in Tesco any way.

I saved £3 on my shop this week. The discount came on after all the shopping had been scanned.

The clubcard is definitely useful. Most years we convert our points to eurotunnel crossing, meals, magazine subscriptions, zoo tickets etc.

I had trouble with getting the discount to apply as you don't get prompted to scan your card til after the till has shown your total. Once you scan it the discounts apply.

If you have a Tesco credit card you get points every time you use it. Also if you have a Tesco mobile phone or insurance you'll get points.
