What is the protocol for staff if they have been in contact with someone who tests positive?

I dont work in one but I thought they were set up so the staff didnt come t contact with the public who come for tests?

Certainly from what I've seen on the news and read on here the whole set is done so that can't happen.

Oh sorry, I've realised that you probably didn't mean while they were actually at work. Did you mean just in normal life?

In that case I thnk they'd follow the same procedures as everyone else.

MaidenMotherCrone · 04/10/2020 10:56

No they don't that is why I'm asking.

Whilst at work, the PPE provided should provide adequate protection from contracting the virus. Out of work they would be treated the same as everyone else I guess.
I work in a hospital in an area which saw many many covid positive admissions which included the highest risk procedures.
