Where do you keep bed linen to stop it smelling musty?

No matter where I keep spare linen by the time I use it it often smells musty.
I tried those Lenor unstoppable beads, the smell was so overpowering it actually gave me a headache.
I like to wash and line dry bedclothes and put them back on the same day, so the spares are hanging around for a while admittedly, but I'm at a loss.

If bedding or towels are not 100% dry when they are folded, they will smell musty. I use a tumble drier for this reason.

I made myself an airing cupboard.

Put a vent in the door. Shelved the cupboard with racks. Put in an oil filled electric heater on low. Wire runs out the back of the cupboard and is plugged in in the bedroom.

Voila. Towel and bedding storage. Plus any ironed clothing can go in there and put away later.
