Indian food

Dd came home with a book the other week about the camel fair in pushkar

It mentioned food they ate whilst there and dd was very interested to try it

Only now I can’t remember what was said.

I remember there was pakoras but that’s about it

She loves a good spicy curry so don’t worry if it’s spicy. So can you suggest some Indian foods she could try.

I don’t want to make a huge meal and find she doesn’t like it so individual bits are better to begin with

Thank you

If she loves a good spicy curry, do you mean at a restaurant and you want to make some stuff at home?

If I were you I'd get one of those curry kits so you don't have to buy a lot of separate stuff. The Spice Tailor, Spicentice, Boom kitchen, that kind of thing. Then you just have to buy the fresh veg and protein.

I can and have made curries at home.

I meant actual snack foods like those pakoras. But I’m not sure what else there is.

I like to use the website vegrecipesofindia when I'm making Indian breads, snacks etc. It's the only set of recipes I've found that make food that actually tastes like what my Indian friends make or what I ate in India! The recipes aren't too tricky either, and there are recipes from all over India!

Love Indian food, snacks could be bhajis, samosas or pakoras
