A mental health act assessment has to be applied for by an AMHP who is informed of the outcome and is responsible for making arrangements like getting them to hospital if the Section is granted and ensuring arrangements are made for dependents.

If you mean that someone like a family member asked for the assessment to happen, then I wouldn't expect they are entitled to know the outcome, although the AMHP will always liaise with the next of kin who has the right to object to a Section being granted.
