How do you get a slot?
What time are they released?

I registered last year. Used it a few times and ever since the Pandemic was declared been unable to get a slot. It only shows the next 3 day and they are always already booked.

After 8 months of trying I'm wondering what works for other people.

I have been in touch with Ocado who assure me there are actual slots in my area but that there's high demand so I just need to get lucky.

Any Ocado shoppers able to tell me any tips to securing a slot?

I can always find slots the next day or definitely the day after, but I think it’s because I’m a loyal customer. I have a smart pass and do a good sized order every 10 days or so. I have to say it would annoy me if I couldn’t get a slot over occasional customers.

Sorry that wasn’t clear — what I meant was, I think the slots you see as available are based on if you shop there often. I was always able to get a slot during lockdown for instance, although we had to book 2 weeks in advance.

I've got an anytime smart pass. I can always see slots for the next three weeks or so although I have noticed I can't usually get a next day delivery like I used to be able to.

Ah right so I used it 9 or so times(once a fornite/11 days or so) end of last year and up to pandemic, then have never been able to get a slot. So not classed as a regular so wont ever get a slot again?

How far out are you looking?

We have had a weekly Ocado slot for years. I can book a Waitrose delivery slot about three weeks out, nothing available sooner.

We've been using them for 8-9 years, had a midweek smart pass for about 4 years. There was about 6 weeks at the start of lockdown when I couldn't even get on the website never mind place an order, but have had weekly slots since late May-ish.

It’s not just you op, I’ve just tried, it only shows Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, all fully booked. Can’t view next three days or the calendar. I last used Ocado three weeks ago, I’m not a delivery pass holder so that’s possibility why.

I had a Smart Pass but I’ve recently cancelled it. There were no delivery slots at all and loads of items out of stock. I’ve had this issue over the past month and I’ve given up now.
