I have tuna in brine, full fat mayo, barbers cruncher cheese, grain mustard, lemon juice, and a range of seasonings plus other condiments but no spring onions.

Hit me, Mumsnettters.

Tuna, cheese, bread, done.

No need for faffing about with sauces, seasonings, or condiments.

Do you have any red onion? Peppers? Sweetcorn?
I don’t really like mayo so I do tuna with black pepper and malt vinegar. With the afore mentioned veg

Oh and cheese otherwise there’s nothing to melt!

I mix tuna with some philly cheese. Then cheddar. I prefer brown seeded bread.

Sometimes I might add a little bit of onion chutney or sometimes cucumber slices after it's toasted

I've got sweetcorn and branston but no chutney and no red onion but I don't think that'd mix with mayo so might leave the mayo.

I toast mine either side in a dry frying pan and then put in a medium oven for 10mins to melt the cheese.

Tuna, a dash of mayo, sweetcorn and cheese. If you're into that kinda thing I always mix a bit of ground black pepper and chilli flakes in it to spice it up a little, it's delicious 😋

Prefer to use a pannini as the bread part for mine

Tuna, mayo, celery, spring onions, lemon juice, black pepper. Dill and/or chives if you have it.

Heat frying pan, bread buttered on the outside, then tuna and cheddar on top. Cover with lid until the cheese is melted, then top with other slice of bread buttered on the outside and flip. Put heavy cast iron frying pan on top until both sides toasted to perfection.

Eat with kettle chips and cornichons and pickled onions.
