What’s everyone up to this weekend?

Pottering around in the kitchen. I sent DD off to collect some seafood I’d ordered but instead of baby squid tentacles I have a tray of something from a monster! No idea what I’m going to do with them!

Will walk the pups at some point and I’ve washed the bedding

Gward I’m boring [lol]

Going to see our friend who we are support bubbling with. Cannot Wait.

Apart from the school/nursery run, I haven't seen anyone in person all week (local restrictions area). So looking forward to being in a different house!

Weather is not the best!

What I should be doing:
Wetdusting, vaccing, washing the floors.

What I'm actually doing:
Curled up on the couch with a puddle of puss in my lap, who glares at me and sticks her claws in, if I even think of moving, and surfing MN.

Very boring but I’m getting my hair cut. It hasn’t been cut since January it’s long, but I’m going for shorter shoulder length style. I’m excited anyway.
As the weather is crap the bread maker will go on and we’ll have it for dinner tonight with cheeses, meats and chutneys.
I’m easily pleased.

I'm cooking a leg of lamb I have both my dds home this weekend normally the youngest is with her dad we are watching a film later and tomorrow the youngest will help me make shepherd's pies for the freezer

Absolutely nothing thanks to DH having to self isolate due to an irresponsible work colleague who was out partying in Liverpool at the weekend and now has coronavirus 😡

I’m currently in the bath while DS watches A Nightmare before Christmas. We’re in isolation for 2 weeks Starting yesterday due to a positive test in his class.

We’ve made “critters” out of pom-poms and pipe cleaners already as his teacher is a genius and made some of these crappy little beasts that they all love them. They’re “quiet critters” and only children that sit quietly and do their work get one to sit on their desk. She’s not daft.

Later we’re going to tidy up and then play Lego minecraft while watching the rugby.

Self isolating so not a lot! Kids are playing friends online and I’m Christmas shopping. Trying to work out who we can get to drop potatoes in as I forgot them in the food delivery.

Went to the pub last night and had some food. Festering indoors today ignoring the housework. Slightly disappointed it's currently stopped raining . Going to visit my parents for lunch tomorrow, with my sister.

We are decamping to our holiday home tomorrow (we don’t live in the UK and aren’t breaking any rules) so have spent the day doing laundry and playing car tetris. Just about to go shopping for journey snacks and drinks. Oh and I made my mumsnet classical playlist from my thread the other day.

We were supposed to be building a garden room from the kitchen to the garden but it's raining quite badly.

Instead we are possibly going to re route some heating pipes so we can convert some dead space in the kitchen.

I'm probably going to end up in the way whilst my DH does this so I will probably watch the 3rd hunger games with DD. Saturday is our chill day.

I’m washing the sofa cover. I’ll go for a walk later.

Running the London Marathon! Eeek!

Keeping a very close eye on my kittens. They were spayed on Wednesday and had body suits rather than cones as the vet said they were “so much better/easier”. Well they ripped them off in disgust after a couple of hours! So I need to keep an eye on them and make sure they’re not bothering their stitches. This generally involves me sitting around with them on my lap or next to me so it isn’t too much of a hardship

Having a phone catch up with Dsis later as she lives at the other end of the country so we haven’t been able to see each other for a few months. Wine will probably make an appearance.

Other than that, just pottering around. I like a good potter.

Went for coffee this morning and had a cinnamon swirl blondie which was incredible! And picked up a few pumpkins from the local farm shop to put around the house. Due on Monday with my first baby and no signs of budging, so probably will spend a few hours bouncing on a ball later 😒

We are stuck at home (DD has Covid and the rest of us are self isolating) so i'm listing random stuff on Ebay & FB Marketplace. Our 2020 clearout continues!

Weather is rubbish so my husband and I are lounging about in bed in our PJs bingeing through Netflix and eating snacks! 🥰

It's been rotten weather here today and I had the house to myself so I've caught up on some work, watched Strike on iplayer, made soup and had a long chat with my mum. And drank a lot of tea.
Rugby with the dcs in the morning then back for a roast and maybe a walk with dh in the afternoon if it stops raining for long enough.

Really wey6and grey here. Plus feel pretty low. So have had a slow day watching TV and cleaning. Going to make a simple pasta dish for dinner and have a glass of wine. I don't drink much but want it today!
