How long did it take for your covid test results to come through?

Just that really. How long did you wait from test to results? Had to get ds tested yesterday and already going a bit loopy 😂. Obviously if it's positive we'll be at home for the full isolation period, but still keeping my fingers crossed for a negative.

18 hours. Test done at ten am. E mail came through 4am next morning.

Posted mine Wednesday morning, it arrived in Glasgow, according to Royal Mail tracking, at 10am Thursday. It’s Saturday morning, they’ve had it for almost 48 hours, and not heard a thing so far .

11 hours the first ones, 23 hours the second. A family member who had a test the day before me at the same test centre waited 8 days.

DD had a test at a drive through on Thursday afternoon and got a text this morning at 8am (negative 😊)

Mid July 20 hrs (DD)
Early Aug 24 hrs (me)
Mid Sept 44 hrs (DS)
Today.... testing at 10am (DS)

Three days. Tested Friday afternoon, results arrived 7am Tuesday. It took me more than 24 hours to book the test.

Thanks everyone, we have now thankfully received our negative test, precisely 24 hrs after testing. And realised we're not going anywhere this weekend in any case, 🤷 so still feeling loopy. At least we can get out for a walk now.
