Does this film exist?

Vaguely remembering an old film or TV programme my mum watched in the early
90s .

Had a guy who was paralysed from neck down, or something like that, sat in front of a window and was witness to a murder in the house opposite . Being paralysed he couldn’t do anything to prevent the situation .

I can’t think of who the actor was except that he was maybe paralysed himself ... and can’t find anything online that suggests it was even a real film ?

It might have been twilight zone/x files, my mum went daft over them at one point ...

Does anyone recognise it at all?

Rear Window with Christopher Reeve?

There's an older B&W version too, Alfred Hitchcock.

I think @ABCDay is right with the film but it may be the original Alfred Hitchcock version with James Stuart.
Have a look at this ;
