Alternative to the bookpeople?

Has anyone found a decent alternative? I used to find them really good for Christmas gifts. When I'm only buying one or two for the dc books I don't buying from the high st/Amazon etc but they normally have 4-5 each for Christmas & with 5 dc that will get expensive, so I'm on the lookout for something similar now TBP has gone.

Costco seems to have a lot of ex-Book People stock.

We used books2door as well.

The Works can be worth a look aswell.

I'd never have thought of Costco Tasteless but do have a card & one near-ish so will go & have a mooch rather than just sending dh.

Will check out the works online, we've 2 in town but both have a poor, albeit different, selection.
