What happened to the Gosport doctor accused of murdering 400 patients?

I’ve watched the Shipman documentary and it made me think of her.

It was all over the news a few years ago, there was some sort of TV expose/investigation. But a lot of ex colleagues who seemed to adamant she was dodgy. She was insisting she was innocent and the police were investigating.

I’m assuming the police never found enough to charge her with anything but why haven’t the media reported that if that’s the case? I’ve googled and can’t find anything recent or conclusive.

But even the new inquiry was launched 18 months ago. You’d think by now they’d know if they could bring charges or not? If she’s innocent then it’s awful for her to have it hanging over her like this for so long. And guilty or not it’s awful for the families for it to drag on like this.
