Watched this programme tonight and it followed the story of a lovely elderly lady called Margaret.
As with these programmes they talk to a family relative where they describe the person and their life.

The lady’s daughter spoke about her mother with such love and explained what a wonderful full life she had had.

It made me think, what do you think your children will say about your life when your are ‘old’.
Mine would probably say ‘Mum worked hard, was always stressed with a messy house and drank lots of wine ....’🤣
What would your children say?

I love threads like this! I often think about how my children will see me when they are all grown up.
At the moment they are all young, they still respect what I say most of the time and we mainly have a giggle. But we haven't had the teenage years yet and goodness knows how they'll think of me after that. I am truely hoping that they look back and remember a happy childhood with lots of fun and laughter as that's how I see it now Smile

I hope they would say that mum loved them to bits, always tried her best and was honest with them. I hope they will remember laughing about stupid things round the dinner table and feeling safe and loved to bits.
Feeling emotional now. Blush

Mine makes me so sad as he will no doubt say I struggled massively with mental illness and had many Lengthy hospital stays :(
