How to entice a sparrow out?

My cat has gifted me a live sparrow, thanks cat. Said sparrow is now hiding behind the dishwasher, inaccessible. Left him alone with window wide open (and doors shut, no cat!) for half an hour but small child managed to take a pic and he is still there. Any suggestions for how to entice him out?

Rescued! After pulling the dishwasher out...and also the fridge because of course he immediately flew behind that. But found the open window eventually so all sorted in the end. Thanks @Palavah for ideas

Now clean behind it and feel proud :)

(For next time: hang a sheet/ blanket up like a tunnel between bird and open window. So when it comes out it'll go straight out, not fly round the room.)

Well done for rescuing him/her!
