I'm sorry I couldn't find the right place to post this but hopefully someone can help.

Months and months ago I purchased a grade A reconditioned phone from OG Exclusives. Long story short, phone was faulty so sent it back, replacement was also faulty so sent this back too. The second phone I sent back never reached them. After weeks and weeks of contact with this company, it turns out that a Royal Mail delivery person was stealing phones and mine was one of them. This information came from OG and I was told once it had been cleared (wtf!) then I'd be reimbursed. Gave them a couple of weeks to refund me but nothing. This was back in March. Then obviously lockdown. The company still traded through lockdown, I checked, and phone lines still active.

Many unanswered phone calls and emails since then and still nothing. I've been in contact with CAB who gave me ODR details ( resolution company) and still nothing. ODR are not operating a phone service so I've emailed them, more than once over the last 6 weeks and still heard nothing back.

I just want my bastard money!! £350. I need my money. Actually half is my son's money as the phone was for his 16th birthday and couldn't afford it all myself. He's going to be 17 in a couple of months that's how long this has been going on.

I just don't know what to do next.

How did you pay for it? Could you use chargeback on your credit or debit card if that's what you used?

dementedpixie · 30/09/2020 11:45

Although it's not really the companies fault if Royal Mail caused the issue

I know it's Royal Mail's fault, but I'm not waiting for a refund from them. I paid by debit card and the CAB advisor told me I can only use chargeback if it was debit card. Is that not correct? I don't know too much about these things
