Why would you want to dissolve them in tea? Are you trying to poison somone?

MsEllany · 29/09/2020 18:54

They should do. Any liquid will dissolve a tab but sparkling is best.

MsEllany · 29/09/2020 18:55

Just make sure you can take them with milk. Some you can’t.

@Ginfordinner I had assumed it was aspirin for @Coldnights but maybe you’re right Grin

Coldnights · 29/09/2020 18:56

No I just find the taste awful in water and can’t take tablets whole.

I don't see why it wouldn't, tea is mostly water anyway. If it's desolvable paracetamol or something similar it will taste rank though, you would be better with water or at least something cool so you can gulp it down quickly, then have a nice cup of tea after.

britnay · 29/09/2020 19:08

I wouldn't as the hot liquid may denature the active ingredient.

LindaEllen · 29/09/2020 19:33

Haha this really does sound like you're trying to poison someone.

Pretty sure they will dissolve in any liquid, BUT they will make it taste vile. Just try it and see what you think.

CatBatCat · 29/09/2020 19:35

Why would you ruin a perfectly good cup of tea?

Ginfordinner · 29/09/2020 21:53

I just have a twisted sense of humour sometimes Grin

What tablets are they? Could you add squash instead?

Coldnights · 29/09/2020 21:55

Just did them in water in th end thanks everyone.

I used to dissolve them in about an inch of water, and throw it back quick, with something nicer for afterwards.

Short sharp shock, then nice.

NannyR · 29/09/2020 21:58

I do the same - dissolve them in the smallest amount of water possible, down it quickly then have a glass of water or squash afterwards to wash away the taste.

Ummm, fizzy tea anyone? Smile
