Do you ever get a craving for a food, even if it’s part of a meal, to just buy it to eat?

I really fancied roast chicken. The delicious crispy skin and the moist inside

I didn’t want the stuff with it or gravy, just the chicken.

So today, I bought a small chicken just to roast it and eat it Grin

Yep, I had a bowl of roast potatoes on Sunday. No meat or veg, just potatoes.

I make egg fried rice too eat on its own. Does that count?

I sometimes get cravings for Nando's garlic bread covered in wild herb sauce. But I don't just go there and only order garlic bread...I will order a full meal.

I also sometimes will just eat mashed potato either on it's own or with gravy just because I want to.

Totally. I wish you could just buy chicken skin on its own. I'd have it daily.

It would make sense - so much chicken is sold without skin. Might be a business opportunity there...

I do it all the time mainly with potato stuff so will have roast potatoes, boiled with hollandaise and mash. I normally cant be bothered making a full meal especially as it's just me

I bet it wouldn’t taste the same though

I love crispy skin but it probably needs that moistness under it to really flavourise it

You'll have to do a Joey from Friends and buy KFC bucket just to give away the chicken once you've eaten the skin!

Bacon wrapped stuffing balls.

Sometimes make them as a snack.

When I was a carb fiend ... buttery mash potatoes 😋 Distant memory now.
