Denise.

I don't know any Denises... I'm sure they're lovely. But the name just rubs me up the wrong way.

NOTE: No Karen bashing please! Because it's been hijacked as a name and it's not fair on Karens.

Marnie.

A mixture between moany and sarnie.

An awful ugly sounding name.

What names are left? This whole thread is so incredibly subjective and meaningless

Angela. Worked with a horrible one in hospital for several years. A truly unpleasant woman.

Dominic. All Dominics, in my experience, are evil incarnate.

Bex. The hapless sidekick.

Julia, bitch on wheels that made my life a misery
Phoebe ,feeble

Ethan. But tbf where I come from its routinely pronounced effan.

I think you ought to post your name and your kids' names if you're going to slate other people's names/their children's names.

Good grief, lighten up! Every single person breathing on this planet will have an opinion on your (and every other!) name...and if they say they don't, then they are lying 🤷‍♀️ It's human nature to have opinions on things...of course, you might choose not to share these opinions, and that's up to you, but don't try to pretend that you don't have them.

eg I truly hate my own name...always have! To the point that I choose to use a nickname that has no link at all to my name. My name has appeared on this thread several times (I'm not at all surprised 🤣) and so have the names of both my DC...which doesn't upset me at all, because I still love the names I chose for my children and, as I said, we all have opinions 🤷‍♀️

I may have already posted on this thread but 2 names I dislike a lot are Clara and Claudia. I have no idea why, they just sound so clumpy to me.

It’s strange because I know Emma is an old name but I can’t seem to like the name on an elderly women same with Amy. I do like the names though.

Ruths are generally pretty irritating and snidey I find. I have met a couple of nice ones, but not many!

What's with all the Amy hate?? Sure it was incredibly common in the late 80s early 90s but its not a bad name!.

My little boys name has come up on this list too, including his middle name!

I'm not a fan of double barreled first names for boys or girls but I wouldn't got so far to say I hate them!
