Typing gloves for WFH

Can anyone recommend some typing gloves or similar for working from home? Not really cold enough to put heating on yet (SW) but hands are getting cold some days and I’m not keen on fingerless gloves.

Thanks

I haven't tried them but I fancy Turtle Doves. They use recycled cashmere and go over the wrists in a way that apparently keeps the fingers warm.

Agree turtle doves

TheGirlOnTheLanding · 27/09/2020 07:09

Just bought some Turtle doves for this very reason. After looking at the page on FB I got a £10 off offer, so you might want to have a nosy there to see if the same offer happens!

Wildernesstips · 27/09/2020 07:10

They look nice and come in a great range of colours, but I’m really after something that covers the fingers.

Oh, I see - I didn’t realise that keeping the wrist warm, keeps your fingers warm...might have another look.

Absolutely agree with Turtle Doves...there's an offer on their website now when you first click on it. I have 3 pairs and a loop scarf. Wonderfully soft, machine washable and they really do keep your fingers warm (thumb goes in a fingerless thumb hole thing, and the rest of the glove pulls right down to the knuckle and up over your wrists).

I have ordered some with the £10 off. Can’t wait, thanks.

Ohhh lovely! What colour did you go for? I’ve got the raspberry red, pale grey and purple colours. I have the berry red loop scarf and all three pairs of gloves look lovely with that 🥰

Wildernesstips · 27/09/2020 16:55

@GinWithRosie I went for the green mix - I’m kind of assuming it might be their least popular green 😄 but I don’t really mind. I envy your selection!

I've got turtlegloves as I suffered from reynards and I think they're fab.

CatFaceCats · 27/09/2020 18:33

Oooh these look fab! How did you get the £10 off offer?

itbemay1 · 27/09/2020 18:44

I ordered these too this morning. Neutral colour, they look fab

ChessieFL · 27/09/2020 18:58

@CatFaceCats I just got the offer by going to the website and signing up to the mailing list - it says they will email you a 10% off voucher but once you’ve done it it then gives you a choice of £10 off the gloves instead. Well, it did for me anyway!

CatFaceCats · 27/09/2020 19:10

@ChessieFL thank you 😊

GinWithRosie · 27/09/2020 20:52

@Wildernesstips you'll love them 🥰

I've had a version of these for ages. I'm quite well known by my friends for extolling the virtues of wrist warmers. Its amazing the difference they make to warming your fingers up!

Takingabreakagain · 27/09/2020 21:36

I'm so pleased to have found this thread as my hands have been very chilly working from home. I've just ordered a lucky dip pair so I'll have to wait and see what colour I get.

JuneFromBethesda · 27/09/2020 21:49

I’ve been working from home for 5 years and love my Turtle Doves.

Emmapeeler2 · 28/09/2020 09:16

I have turtle doves and they are lovely. I started wearing them last week for WFH.
