I was looking at some pictures from a few years ago (well 2010 onwards) and I noticed that nearly all the women in one of the pictures are wearing big, chunky, long necklaces and earrings. "Statement" jewellery, wasn't it? I'd totally forgotten about it, and it looks SO strange now, because nobody seems to wear jewellery any more apart from those thin, short little necklaces that rest on the collarbone, and fine studs or something. It's all gone very subtle.
Also going back to about 2012, there was a trend for jewel coloured, big patterned dresses with big thick black rims along the hems, neckline and sleeves. I remember them everywhere one summer then never saw them again - does anyone know what I mean?
Aztec print too- again one summer and it was gone.
It's weird because it's not THAT far back, but I've already completely forgotten about most of the trends of the last decade and already they're looking really dated
