Feeling "toxic"

Hi,

I've been struggling how I'm feeling both physically and mentally and today I came to the conclusion the only way I can explain how I feel is "toxic".

I'm not unwell with illness but I feel l like I need to change things for both my physical and mental health.

However I'm stuck on how to change things in my life, I drink lots of water so I suppose that's a start but need some ideas on how to change physically and mentally (I'm feeling pretty negative)

I'm mid 30s, 2.5 st overweight working full time mum to a 21 month old

Kind words appreciated x

Hi OP,

Do you take vitamins and supplements? I make sure they are a part of my nightly routine. Also a good skincare routine is a must for me, helps me relax and unwind before bed.

I agree with the above poster, a skincare routine is great, I started last month and feel better for it

Do you exercise? I run 3 times a week, just 20/30mins but it makes me feel amazing and so much less sluggish

On the sluggish front i also do 16:8 or try and do 18:6 which helps to

Do you get any alone time?

I was taking the pregncare breastfeeding vitamins and I felt better on them, and if I didn't take them after a few days I would feel worse. However they are so expensive I went to boots own brand and just don't feel the same

I used to run but since having baby I've put on 2.5 st and lost my running mojo

I've just spent a some money on vitamins and minerals from Boots as they are on offer at the moment and used my points for some skin care

I will try and get out for half an hour during my lunch break to go for a walk

Does anyone have any audio books or podcasts for positive outlooks on life

Also has anyone done holistic therapies such as reki or reflexology and found it worked? Maybe il create a separate post about those ?

Would you try yoga? It's been great for me through menopause/ difficult teens/ stressful job. I go to hot yoga in a studio but during lockdown I did yoga with Adriene online and it was great.
