Tom Gates Books - Do you need to read in order?

Just that really, my son has read the first and another couple later on in the first series.

I want to get him a couple more for his birthday, but only some of them are in two for £7 offers in Asda/Amazon. Would rather get a deal than pay £6 per book.

No, my son loves them but definitely didn’t read them in order and it was fine.

No my son’s not read them in order. I Quite often find Them on market place for £1 each too.
