Has Graham Norton’s Saturday Radio 2 programme finished for good?

I know there’s always a long summer break but it’s usually back by now. I’ve done a quick Google and can’t see anything. I really like his show so will be gutted!Anybody know?

I really hope not, I love listening to Graham when I'm pottering about the kitchen on a Saturday morning. Alan and Mel are just too squawky for me.

If it has I hope they don’t keep that pair of screeching harpies that are Allan and Mel. Separately I don’t mind them, but together they’re awful.

Thank Christ Graham is coming back in a couple of weeks. Alan Carr and Mel Whatsername are terrible. Unfunny, amateurish. She was describing a box set she’s been watching earlier (Inwas on a short car journey, stuck with R2 out of fascinated horror at the poor quality broadcast) and she must have been reading from a sheet of paper. Are the BBC getting them for £50 a show or something? I can’t see any other reason for letting them broadcast.

Did Alan and Mel say today was their last show of the summer run? I was only half listening whilst supervising homework.

It's the Autumn trifecta. Bake Off, Strictly and Graham coming back from his hols.

I think Mel was describing Outlander wasn't she? It was her review/recommendation so would have been written down but she does sound stilted when she does it.

I don't mind them tbh. They are background noise while I clean. I love Graham though.

Yes it was her own review. She couldn’t even talk about a box set that she had watched without reading it, stiltedly, off a piece of paper. Surely there are better broadcasters than these two?

They should have got Vanessa Feltz!

No idea but I really enjoy listening to Alan & Mel so I'm happy for him to stay away as long as he likes
