I love a weekend plans thread!
We are having a chilled morning at home today with a few jobs and then go to a beach near us this afternoon and then tomorrow a walk with my mum and a roast dinner. And probably the fire on as it is feeling quite autumnal.
What’s everyone else doing?

That sounds like a lovely weekend.

I've got a kidney infection so my plans just involve taking lots of antibiotics and paracetomol and trying to eat a bit and avoid hospital. Other than that will just be watching Below Deck Med, trying to persuade ASD DS to do homework with me and listening to DD (14) rant about various things. Grin

DH in theory is collecting shopping I've ordered from Sainsbury's, putting up our new chicken house and run, and going down to old house to plant some plants. Will also try and speak to estate agent re our house sale.

MysweetAudrina · 26/09/2020 07:55

Yoga at 9 (online class) and a shop at some stage. All kids matches cancelled ( lockdown area) so quieter than normal day. Nothing else really planned but might persuade dh to come shopping for paint and a new bed for our room as I ordered a new floor for it yesterday on an impulse.

MyView2 · 26/09/2020 08:00

My children just asked me this very question, tricky one to answer as we are currently self isolating with my husband separated from the rest of us following his positive coronavirus test. Any suggestions welcome!

Just returned yesterday from a lovely weeks break on the Isle of Wight, so lots of washing to do. Quite tired though as we had to be out of holiday home at 9 am and had to strip beds and did more cleaning than we normally would have. One adult DS stayed home, so there is a massive pile of his washing, plus he has got a new wardrobe, desk and tv that has arrived, all the old stuff is just dumped in the garden needs sorting out.

Goldensunnydays81 · 26/09/2020 08:03

Oh @KoalasandRabbit chickens! I’m so jealous I would love some chickens! But hope you are feeling a bit better and you manage to get rid of the kidney infection quickly.
@MysweetAudrina ooh new bedroom stuff, that sounds nice, I need to finish painting a wall in my bedroom next week

Ordering my kitchen in an hour.

My DD had a sleepover last night so when I come back I will make them some bacon rolls if my DH hasn't.

Then we need to have a tidy up and nothing else planned!

Goldensunnydays81 · 26/09/2020 08:05

On no @MyView2 that sounds hard, hope you manage to avoid it and dh recovers quickly.
How old are your children?

Taking my car for a service this morning then this afternoon I’m going into work to give a big bunch of lovely people seasonal flu jabs.
It’s my day off, the place where the jabs are kept should be closed but the very very lovely lady there has volunteered to come in and give me the jabs so I can get everyone done that wants them.
I should get about 30 people jabbed so well worth going in.

We are going to a National Trust place later. The cafe isn't open and it is too cold for a picnic, so I am going to cook a brunch/ full breakfast first. I don't know what else. DH is going out overnight tonight despite that being illegal. I need to try and get DC to do some schoolwork, as DC1 only got through half of the work school set for the 2 weeks she was off due to a positive case in her year group. Probably playing several games of Junior Monopoly, because DC2 is obsessed with that and asks to play it many times each day.

YellowandGreenToBeSeen · 26/09/2020 08:28

Currently in bed drinking my second cup of tea. Washing is on. Hang that out, change the bed, clean the house and then head to town to get my eyebrows threaded and do some food shopping.

Home and then a chilled evening of food, wine, telly and bed. Feel a bit ‘coldy’ (not the ‘rona) so want to hunker down after enjoying the sunshine. Might head to town via the park.

Tomorrow - barely leaving the house I hope.

ShoppingAllDay · 26/09/2020 08:30

Isolating whilst waiting for my corona test results. Hoping the come today. If positive I'll be doing nothing if negative then might go for a long walk with the children.

frenchfancy81 · 26/09/2020 08:33

Off to local bootsale shortly!
Just moved house a week ago so then it'll be lots of sorting and planning what we are going to do decoration-wise.
Afternoon visit from aunt and uncle for Prosecco and cake in the garden and belated bday presents for our little boy.
More sorting, washing, unpacking before an easy dinner and telly with a couple of drinks and more planning! :)

DP and DS are getting ready to go fishing. It’s DS’s first fishing trip and he’s very excited. I’m lying in bed with the dog and 2 week old DD, we will follow a bit later and have a walk around the lake and see what they’ve caught.

I need to do some housework, shopping and homework with DS at some point. We’ll do a big dog walk somewhere nice tomorrow and other than that just chill at home as DP is back at work from paternity leave on Monday.

jomaIone · 26/09/2020 08:47

@badlydrawnbear it's illegal to go out overnight???

I have a bit of a cold this morning, so having a morning in bed demanding tea and toast be sent upstairs! DH has charge of the toddler for the day so I plan a very leisurely day to myself for the first time in a very long time. She's going to her Grans tomorrow while my husband is out golfing so even more time to myself. Bliss. All I ever want 🤣

Teacup34 · 26/09/2020 08:53

Drinking coffee while my dds empty every toy they have All over the lounge, will all get dressed shortly and walk into town then over to a friends this evening, panicking as she has now told me she hired a hot tub and I will have to wear a swimsuit and expose my pasty chub 😥. Off to a national trust tomorrow followed by a roast.

DeathMetalMum · 26/09/2020 09:04

We're going for a short walk somewhere local this morning. I have a load of washing almost done to go on the line before we go. This afternoon I will probably do some lego or sewing with dd's. Dp is cooking a roast dinner - we havent had one for a while so I am really looking forward to it.
I haven't decided for tomorrow yet. I might see if we can get a walk in hair appointment somewhere as both dd's need their hair trimmed. We will also make some flapjack for school lunches next week.
I have a deadline coming up for a course I am doing do I will be spending both evenings on the PC writing my assignment.

pumpkinpie01 · 26/09/2020 09:15

Every other weekend my dh works which coincides with my friends weekend with her son so we always take our boys somewhere, today is lunch then a lovely national trust place. Tomorrow probably take my granddaughters and their dog for a walk/park .
