What was your last dream?

I've just woke up from the best dream I've had in a while.
I lost my nan a month ago and she was my second mam.
My mam passed away 20 years ago when I was 14.
Anyway I was walking in a church and my mam was singing in the choir and she was late teens /early 20s.
She had her lovely long hair and was singing her fav song.
We started smiling at each other and I walked over.
She stopped singing and hugged me and we danced.
She said it was okay she wasn't here anymore because her sole purpose was to have me.
She kissed me and I woke up.
I wanted to write it down before I forgot.
I woke up happy today,it feels like I've just spent time with her (I know that sounds weird )
What was your last dream? Or a dream you loved ?

That is lovely op, and sorry to hear of the recent loss of your nan.

On Thursday night, I had a dream that it was Christmas eve, between 8 and 9am, and I was heading into a shopping centre in a panic because I hadn't started my Christmas shopping, at all. I had to get Santa presents for my 2 DC and presents for my dnephews and was worried the shops were going to be busy and out of stock.
It put the fear through me and I'm going to buy as much as I can today.

@Lazysundayafternoons that's one of my dreams too,but in mine it is nearly closing Xmas eve and I can't get a tin of roses or turkey anywhere (if you've seen Christmas with the kranks-I'm Nora in my dream Grin

I had a dream I was sharing out a brocolli between all the young children in my village (am watching Battlestar Galactica atm which is a dystopian tv show)

My dreams are often bloody ridiculous - my last one involved me joining the x-men. I am an overweight woman of 40 with no superpowers I am aware of.

Last night I dreamt I was going on holiday and forgot to take any luggage. Confused

My dh was in the shielding group and although they were ' released ' end of July , we have kept having deliveries for our shopping so haven't been in a shop for many months.
I keep dreaming about being in a shop but having to dodge people who have covid symptoms.

Isn't your sub conscious a weird thing.

The last one I remember was that I was in an Italian restaurant in Croydon and there was a live performance of Dracula. I know it was Croydon because we all got taken to hospital when it turned out Dracula was a real vampire.

Last night I dreamt I had to recreate the final Dirty Dancing dance with James Cordon, and I fancied him like mad Confused

I'm a lucid dreamer and always have very vivid dreams.

Last night I was in a strange city and there were huge, dark thunderclouds. Suddenly they turned into giant nightmare stallions breathing fire and killing people. I grabbed the person with me (never seen them in my real life before) and we hid in a narrow alley until they had passed. We left the alley and the city was on fire and there were bodies all around.

A man shouted and waved to us and we got into an old car with him. He says he was chasing the storms and wanted us to join him as we were immune to the fire. He would teach us to track them and fight back.

Then bloody Alexa went off waking me up.
