Netflix... should I?

We have sky and amazon prime, but still nothing much appeals.

With the prospect of more time at home over winter, is Netflix worth a go?

I like Netflix myself. Prime/Sky- no interest.

You get bored of everything after a while. I have prime and now TV and prefer Netflix

ZarasHouse · 25/09/2020 22:22

I would get it for a short time and see if you use it. I think sometimes when your channel hopping and can't find something then the more subscription services you have the more you channel hop but still can't find anything, though, whereas sometimes it's better to plan what you are going to watch before sitting down.

I try to have a list of things I would like to watch on a streaming site. Then I get the site, I stream what it is I got the site for (and usually a couple of extra things I see adverts for) then when I'm done I unsubscribe. Although I do always have prime.

There's loads of good stuff on Netflix and I find it a lot easier to see what's available to watch compared to Prime.

LindaEllen · 25/09/2020 22:29

There is a lot of good stuff on Netflix, so it might be worth a go. Is there a minimum subscription length? You could just sign up and see what it's like and then cancel if it's not worth it?

CatBatCat · 25/09/2020 22:41

I use it a few months at a time. Stop the subscription for a few months then start again.

I love Netflix, just watched Bridge of Spies on it tonight and looking forward to some of the series that caught my eye

BananaLlamaConCalma · 25/09/2020 23:06

I have cancelled my tv licence and don't watch anything live. I use Netflix, Disney+ and prime. Really recommend it.

SquishyFishy · 25/09/2020 23:14

Much prefer Netflix to prime - I find it easier to find stuff that I want to watch

AriettyHomily · 25/09/2020 23:44

Netflix is better than prime
IMO.

Bunnymumy · 25/09/2020 23:47

I switch between Netflix, amaxon prime and now tv over the years but netflix is actually the only one I ever keep going for long periods of time. The other two feel scarce in comparison.

Defo give it a try. You'll probably get a free month anyway.

Bunnymumy · 25/09/2020 23:48

*sparce in comparison.

I

Netflix is brilliant. Watch 'Money Heist' first!
