I would say a plain diet coke

OP posts:

A pint of Aspalls or Thatchers Cider.

CakeGirl2020 · 25/09/2020 17:44

White wine or a Pornstar martini

ivfbabymomma1 · 25/09/2020 17:45

It depends on the time of day but a large white wine with ice & lemonade or a Diet Coke!
The occasional gin as well

Pinot Grigio if just going for a drink or ordering by the glass.
Merlot if ordering a bottle.

Diet Coke or sparkling water if driving/pregnant.

RunningWaterfall · 25/09/2020 17:49

Lime and soda or Diet Coke

yearinyearout · 25/09/2020 17:49

Cider if I'm thirsty, otherwise G&T

Ivenamechanged13 · 25/09/2020 17:59

Pint of Bitter then when I cant drink anymore pints because I'm going to the loo every 10 minutes I move onto JD 😁🍻

olderwhynotwiser · 25/09/2020 17:59

I enjoy a gin and tonic before dinner and red wine with the meal. If we
go out to lunch I like cider, only apple though, not these strange other fruit ciders. Cider lovely outside on a hot summer day.

MsSquiz · 25/09/2020 18:20

Usually a blackcurrant and coke or fresh orange and soda

If drinking alcohol, either Prosecco, mojo to or french martini

Lindylooboo · 25/09/2020 18:36

If I'm only having one I will have a chardonnay. If it looks like a longer night with more than one drink I will have vodka soda with a lemon.

Coquohvan · 25/09/2020 19:02

Gosh drinks make me think of holidays. :-(

Aperol spritz
Chilled rosé wine
Mojito
Lemoncello

Don’t drink much though enjoy these when away.

AgeLikeWine · 25/09/2020 19:08

If I’m not driving, I will usually have a pint of cask ale in the pub and choose wine will go with what I’m eating in the restaurant.

If I am driving, I will probably have a Coke Zero or a non-alcoholic beer if a decent one is available.

Liverbird77 · 25/09/2020 19:57

Usual is a dry white. If I am somewhere with great bar staff, then a dry gin Martini, slightly dirty, shaken and with two olives.

IHaveBrilloHair · 25/09/2020 19:59

Tap water!
I don't go to pubs though, just restaurants to eat.

pincertoe · 25/09/2020 20:01

Depends on time of year and if I'm eating. White wine or g&t, in the summer a lager and lime or a cider.

docemmett · 25/09/2020 20:09

Country pub with husband - Pint of lager - Moretti, Peroni, Hop House or similar
Drinks with girls - Gin and tonic
Meal - dry white wine

RomanyBlood · 25/09/2020 20:29

Pub: draught craft pale ale
Restaurant: depends on the food. A very dry white then Rioja, possibly.

Deadringer · 25/09/2020 20:30

Pint of coors light in the pub for me. Barcardi and coke if i fancy spirits, glass of Rose if i want something light or i am having a big meal. Long island iced tea if i am feeling fancy. Cheers!🍺🍷🍹

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 25/09/2020 20:37

Lime and Soda if I'm driving
White Wine if I'm day drinking
Gin and tonic if it's a drink before a meal

ODFOx · 25/09/2020 20:39

I haven't been to a pub in years but in my dim memory, unless it's a wine bar with a good turnover, pub wine is grim. So real ale if available and not too hoppy, or gin and a sugar free mixer tonic or bitter lemon ( if I can get one now that sugary mixers are considered fancy).

Natsku · 25/09/2020 20:42

If they have GF beer then that, whatever kind is available. If not then red wine. Though if I'm just having a meal at a restaurant I'll just have water, always prefer water with food.

Lonkero (gin and fizzy grapefruit) used to be my go to but I've noticed as I get older it gives me the worst hangovers.

funtimefrank · 25/09/2020 20:49

Vodka or gin and tonic
If the days I could have gluten (sob) a paint if larger or blond beer
If not drinking lemonade or tonic

Shizzlestix · 25/09/2020 20:51

Diet Coke or cider shandy.

CherryPavlova · 25/09/2020 20:57

I don’t generally go to pubs for drinks. For a meal, we’d match the food so no ‘usual’ wine.

Seventybillionnamechanges · 26/09/2020 11:25

@docemmett - that’s exactly the same as me!
