They're very different. Have you tried either on? I think because they're such different shapes, you could only really know by trying them on with what you'd wear with them.

Timshortforthalia · 24/09/2020 21:14

I'd avoid canvas trainers for winter tbh. They'll be soaked and dirty really quickly.

RunningFromInsanity · 24/09/2020 21:15

I like the red ones

They aren't canvas they are suede
I already own skechers and vans

I wouldn't wear either in winter tbh
I like dark leather trainers for winter so the marks from rain and dirt can be wiped off

covetingthepreciousthings · 24/09/2020 21:26

I prefer the Vans.. but agree with PP, I wouldn't get either for winter.

ShalomToYouJackie · 24/09/2020 21:31

I wouldn't get suede shoes for winter, unless you cover them in Crep Protect or something similar. I do like the Vans a lot though

Shadow1986 · 24/09/2020 21:34

Have you tried vans before? I found them the most uncomfortable shoes I’ve ever worn and got the worst blisters from them so my advice would be anything but them!!

Bloomburger · 24/09/2020 21:36

What are you planning to do in them?

lockdownrainbow · 24/09/2020 21:50

?? Do with them wear them i am the uk not in usa only have thin Skechers trainers currently

MrsJonesAndMe · 24/09/2020 21:57

I prefer the Sketchers but agree with everyone else that it's rare my trainers get an outing in winter due to ending up with wet toes!

lockdownrainbow · 24/09/2020 22:00

The skechers have a more sensible material and i love my go walk slip on skechers and my skechers trainers

I prefer the look of the Vans but don't particularly like either and wouldn't want suede or a low ankle in A/W in the UK, for me it's just not compatible with crap weather and puddles.

They're very different pairs of shoes. You know what you will get the use out of more presumably OP, and what goes with more of your wardrobe.
