Potentially dodgy email from NatWest

I have had a couple of these emails over the past 24 hours, thanking me for opening a new account. I left NatWest about three years ago and haven’t made any new applications- plus it’s not my correct postcode.

I haven’t clicked on anything in the email, changed my passwords for everything else - is there anything I should be doing? Or is this a genuine email?

Do you have twitter or Facebook? Pm them on this with your screenshot.

Because if like me you are a catastrophiser you will be thinking of the worst and the simplest thing to do will be far from your mind! Grin this happened to me with a different bank, apparently a phising email so was a fake one!

Looks utterly fake. Click on the email address that it came from - what is the actual email address letter by letter? I bet it isn’t a NatWest one.

@TitianaTitsling how right you are Grin

@vinoandbrie when I clicked the email address was NatWest- Welcome, but even other one looks way more genuine than the one in my original post. Very convincing Hmm @
