Ours closed on Friday. So two main hospital A and E depts squeezed into one that can’t cope on a normal year😟

The one at the Whittington seems to be the only one open which will likely end up crazy busy.......
I do worry the government will blame everything that happens to the NHS on Covid and some services will never reopen.

I had to take DD to the Whittington last week (we live in Haringey) and it was really busy.

I can’t understand why all the Covid patients aren’t taken to the Excel nightingale hospital and then local hospitals would take their usual cases?

Because they never had and still don't have any staff.

We are 40,000 nurses short nationally.

Our NHS has been ground down deliberately, and now we really need it Sad

Children been thrown under a bus again to protect the boomers. Our kids are going to spend their entire lives paying off the debt that's been accumulated. I don't know why people aren't more angry about this.

Hilleni · 05/10/2020 16:40

Oh them pesky boomers!

Yup. Government playing the blame game again. If it isn't the NHS's fault, it'll be schools, businesses, the general population, etc...

Is there ANYONE they haven't blamed for this whole fiasco? apart from their complete incompetence as a government
