What are peoples thoughts on a sink in a kids bedroom (under 12) - we have one and I'm wondering should I get it removed?

We had one in this house when we moved in. I had it removed

Why did you remove it?

Well, personally I'd have it removed as I can't see any advantage that outweighs the many possible disadvantages Even the most sensible kid can do stupid things that are likely to end up with overflowing water on a carpeted or wooden floor not designed for it!

If you can't afford to have it removed you could always cap the tap instead
