My kids are convinced that Zuma of Paw Patrol is a girl. Is s/he?

Don't be silly, we know only Skye is a girl because she's the only pink one.

Shame that so many of the ‘good’ pups are male though! Not thay Skye and Everest aren’t good but the police/fire/construction pups are all boys.

Zuma is one of the main protagonists in the TV series PAW Patrol. He is a male Chocolate Labrador pup and the water rescuer of the PAW Patrol. His primary purpose is to rescue sea animals from underwater emergencies. Since his services aren't often required, he is one of the least used members of the team.

I knew a Zuma when i was growing up ( yes a girl) and have also known of a Zulma.
Both i was told are arabic and mean "peace"

We have some of the paw patrol books and Zuma is referred to as he.

We've had this debate frequently on our house since I was convinced from watching that Zuma was a girl, but all the official info says Zuma is a boy!

I'd forgotten I'd posted this. I got corrected to "she" talking about Zuma today. I will pay attention to next time it's on and have a proper discussion to get to the root to why they think it is a girl.
Also I wouldn't have chosen to transition Zuma. Pink-Ian tines won't go with it.
