My mil claims that she desperately missed our 2 DS during lockdown and would regularly post on FB about how much she's missed them growing up etc etc. However ever since lockdown rules have relaxed, we've maybe seen her at most a handful of times.
A few days ago she messaged to say there'll be another lockdown and she will miss seeing the boys again etc etc etc. So I suggested that she comes to see us ASAP before the rules come in place. 'Ohh no I'm busy until Friday. and there will be new rules from Friday so I can't.' 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Not sure why I'm so annoyed. She's generally very good. But I think it's all this drama about missing the boys but when it comes to it, she's not bothered really.
