Essential Oils

Sorry - don't quite know where to put this!

I've been trying out various Rose oils - I want to make a blend with one but, given that the actually essential oil is mega expensive, I've tried a few absolutes. I don't rate these at all in a burner - on its own or in a blend - so am considering a cheaper fragrance oil.

Many suggestions? Thanks in advance 👍

Fragrance oils will do nothing for healing it depends what you want them for as they don’t do the same job.
Fragrance oils are entirely synthetic

I usually put lavender and geranium in my oil burner.

I tend not to use rose because it is very pricey but lovely to use in facial massage.

@Dowser I'm making room sprays as gifts and have only ever used essential oils usually. A friend would love rose though and I'd like to try and blend it with other essential oils but it's way too expensive for me hence I thought about a fragrance. I've told her it wouldn't have any healing properties but she just wants the scent!

@lachy I love the combinations you mention. The rose absolutes are not noticeable at all in my burner. I've tried blending with sandalwood as I thought the woodiness would accentuate the rose, but I couldn't smell either!

I use rose water as a facial spritz -
Love it.

naturalbeautypot.co.uk/blogs/news/essential-information-on-essential-oils Here’s a good blog with links to a few cheaper essential oils, in my experience fragrance oils don’t have the same effect at all unless you just want the smell
