Hi All,

Soon to be DW and I are discussing our last names and I wondered what people had done with their own. We will be getting married next year and have our first child on the way this November. We are both happy to double barrel and so was looking to see what influenced peoples decisions.

The options would be Collier-Taylor or Taylor-Collier

Looking forward to some feedback Bear

We double-barreled our children's surnames. There was no way I would have considered anything else. DH was fine with it. I think your names sound good together.

Collier-Taylor sounds better to me.

Thunderbolted · 22/09/2020 14:53

Collier-Taylor for me.

AllPlayedOut · 22/09/2020 15:01

Collier-Taylor flows well so I'd choose that.

Collier-Taylor flows better.

Agree Collier-Taylor

How about merging your names? Collier or Tayler or Tayllier could work.

DH and I came up with an entirely new last name for ourselves, actually based on the place we went for our first date! (but this was partially as we didn't want to be linked to our families anymore, and his name was hard as hell to spell hahaha!)

I like Collier-Taylor too, personally :)

Collier-Taylor sounds much better
