Can I go on holiday next week?

Have a short break booked next week and I'm not sure if I'm actually allowed to go. I'm keeping an eye on the news but I can't see if anything has been said.

It would be from County Durham to Scarborough for four nights. I'm meant to be finally meeting my god daughter so really want to go.

Thank you

There's no overall restrictions on movement for holidays. You'd need to make sure that you're not violating any local lockdown rules, such as not mixing households if that's not allowed... And I'm presuming you're complying with the rule of six.

Where are you staying and where are you meeting your goddaughter?

Because County Durham is under local lockdown my understanding is that you shouldn't be mixing with other households in their home. You can see them in the pub though Hmm (although it's against guidance, but in private homes is illegal I think)

(To clarify I meant where as in what type of venue not geographical location!)

Premier Inn.

We were planning to meet up outside in the park for a few hours and there would only be three of us - me, her mum and my god daughter.

I'm feeling so bloody anxious about the whole situation. If I could cancel and not lose the money I would.
