Baby waking self up with arm movements

Hi all, looking for so advice!
My 13 week old has been swaddled since birth & loved it (and it worked). Over the past 2-3 weeks he has been fighting to get out of them constantly! So I've tried him in a sleep bag etc however he just constantly wakes himself up with his arms waving about everywhere.
I didn't go cold turkey with the sleep bag I introduced it during day naps first with the hope he would get used to it but his arm movements don't seem to be getting any better!
He swaddles better with a blanket but I would never put him in that over night. I've tried different velcro wraps & no matter how gently I do them he hates them.
The room temp is good, he is fed & clean nappy but yet he can't keep still!

Merlin's magic sleepsuits! They are weighted sleepsuits designed to be used from 3 months + when you stop swaddling. We started using one in desperation this week on our 9 week old and it's been amazing! She's now sleeping from 9pm to 5.30am with only one feed (though that still takes 2+ hours....!). Unfortunately, they are an american brand and you can't buy them in this country so will need to get them shipped over from the US or get one second hand on ebay/Facebook marketplace.

You can also get zip up swaddles. We used the love to dream ones that swaddle the arms up by the head, so they can move them but reduce the jerk reflex (she hated having her arms pinned by her side!). But there are other brands that swaddle the arms in the "normal" swaddling position down by their sides/across their tummies. So long as your baby isn't rolling onto his tummy, you can continue swaddling for longer than 3 months!

Thanks so much! I hadn't heard of those weighted sleep suits! I read up on it and went and bid on one of eBay! Pray for me haha!
