We’ve had no hot water for six weeks so I’ve been slacking on the washing front and I’m knocking myself sick with the stench of my own armpits.

@Frownette as luck would have it, the engineer fitted the boiler today but has to do some pipework tomorrow, so I had a strip wash in the sink.

Honestly it's been 6 weeks of back and forth with engineers and insurance, on average we've had three days of hot water with two weeks of none. On the home stretch now!

I should be going up to do some admin, but I’ll probably lie on the bed for a moment and fall asleep. I can’t seem to stay awake past 8:30 these days.

Putting the child to bed then having a cup of decaff coffee before the husband comes in

Still sitting here avoiding fecking Wheeler Dealers while “D” H watches it. CBA to move so I’ll watch something on iPlayer or YouTube.
