What are you up to?

Today was a holiday here in sunny Scotland so DD and I went out for lunch and to several parks (joy) was nice to have time together as normal every day life of work, school, childminders etc always mean we see eachother for an hour at night time.

Tonight Iv been getting ready to get back to it all tomorrow, showers ,school clothes ironed, lunches made etc.

Your turn!

Watching Cobra Kai..... Love the nostalgia. Life was so positive back then.

TitianaTitsling · 21/09/2020 21:48

Drinking wine and watching poirot! It was a lovely day in Scotland wasn't it! Back to the rain tomorrow I've heard.

TitianaTitsling · 21/09/2020 21:49

Love Cobra Kai! Strike hard, strike fast!

wishthiswasreallife · 21/09/2020 21:49

Oh no rain tomorrow? We have had a pretty surprising run of about 6 days with no rain!Which is unheard of for these parts.

I'm in bed, with the dog. Dh working tonight and so the dog gets to sleep on the end of the bed. Have to be up early (tiler coming to finish our en-suite which has been totally stripped out) so early night. I'm disabled and usually sleep until about 10 as my medication makes me sleepy, but have to drag myself out of bed for 8 tomorrow!

Plump82 · 21/09/2020 21:51

I was working as normal, from home as I don't get bank holidays (also in Scotland) however my husband had one too many shandies last night and felt sorry for himself all day so i had to listen to him be ill all day as well as deal with my wee cat who isn't very well. Due to said shandies I was up pretty late trying to sort a taxi for him so im hoping I can get to sleep fairly soon.
Sorry that was incredibly boring!

JamesAnderson · 21/09/2020 21:56

Not tonight, but today I have been watching someone make a platform for his caravan awning. He thinks it's going to stop the rain running in but what he's doing will only cause the water to pond in the awning instead.

The fun continues tomorrow 😁

I can't really do anything aside from rest as I have some lurgy type thing and am a bit weak.

Friend phoned earlier, he's got the same thing (we might have caught it from each other! We met up last week) and thought about phoning another but I'd have to hang up on her if my throat got too bad and I had to vomit so decided against it.

Honestly I'm just very nosey and I love hearing what everyone gets up to in everyday life! A really big thing happened to me today,I discovered you could get bags of mini tunnocks caramel wafers, all my dreams came true and I ate two bags Grin

I’m watching Married at First Sight on All4, stressing about work tomorrow. I had a day with DS today (also in sunny Scotland). Some eejit sent some work related email to my private mailbox in error, I saw the email popping up and of course had to read it. I’m going to have an interesting day tomorrow.
I should be going to sleep now but I think O need to watch one more episode Grin

MerryGoRoundBrain · 21/09/2020 22:07

Can anyone tell me please why the schools were off today in Scotland? Not sure if it was all schools, or just Edinburgh...

MerryGoRoundBrain · 21/09/2020 22:26

We were off both Friday and today! Edinburgh schools were only off today I think, don’t we all love the September weekend? Wink
I messaged DP and asked him to nip into scotmid on his way home tomorrow morning. He was not impressed but I explained it is very important to me.

wishthiswasreallife · 22/09/2020 06:54

It is a matter of urgency that Dp goes to scotmid this morning,I will also be visiting there after the school run!

Our have been of Friday and Monday too but yes I think some schools were only off Monday.
