Pregnancy scans

Hello all. New anxious mum here looking for some help - I really do get anxious so please be gentle ☺️

I just read (good old internet) that scans before 10 weeks might be advised against. Being anxious I of course had one when I discovered I was pregnant at about 7 weeks. My baby is here, safe and well but I always worry about future risks etc. Has anyone else heard this? I’m such a worrier, some feedback would be very, very appreciated. Thank you.

I’ve never heard this and I’m a sonographer.

Never heard of them being unadvised, just thought it was a way to reduce cost
