School application change of address

Hi! School admissions for my local area opens in 7 days. We are moving in November to an address in a different catchment. The schools in the new area are all going to be close or to oversubscribed. Can I apply with my future address in September or do I have to wait till I am actually moved in? There’s quite a distance between the two houses so no overlap in schools.

Is this for primary schools with closing date 15 Jan?
In which case there is no benefit to applying early, just wait until you have moved.
You can't apply from an address you don't live in.

Just wait. IT makes no difference if you apply on the day it opens or the day it closes.

You need to go on the Primary board and learn about the process!
Put schools in your true order of preference but make sure you include at least one banker where you are almost certain to be offered a place. Better a dire school on your doorstep than one 10 miles away.
