Seeing as we're doing the obvious jokes, does Barnard Castle have a banqueting hall that you can hire out? Might be able to wear suits of armour in lieu of masks.

I’m so glad I don’t have to endure the Christmas party this year.

Yeah I’m over moon I won’t have to suffer it this year too. Let’s hope they don’t suggest a zoom party ffs, already had enough of that!

I think the simple idea is that, unless something radically changes, it’s not going to happen and t doesn’t look massively socially responsible for a company to be organising one.
