Ebay, vinted or depop

I've used Ebay for about 15 years but it feels like its harder and harder to sell on there. Does anyone use depop or vinted that used ebay before and how do they compare?

My DD sells on Depop but says it's getting really tough as they've changed the layout so it really focuses on the top sellers. She's got around 10,000 followers but isn't selling much right now. I've never sold seriously on ebay but it look to me like there's much more interaction on Depop.

Hmmm i'm not sure about the whole followers thing. I just want to sell some clothes and the styles are quite different as its a mix of office attire and alternative.

I'd go for ebay but watch out for scammers - photograph everything very carefully - ideally add the cost of tracked postage to the listing (so it shows as free postage) and photograph/video it going into the package/post.

She sells on Vinted as well and has had more success there recently. I think Depop is (or at least was) more of a cross between social media and sales whereas Vinted is more pure sales. Maybe try there first!

I've been very lucky on ebay that ive not had any issues with scammers so far, even selling high value items. I just feel for clothes only a few brands are worth puttjng up as most highstreet stuff wont go for more than a few quid.

I guess facebook is the other option.
