Blood donation

I have just been to donate blood today and I am wondering who I can email to address this particular issue.

In the donation questionnaire there is a section about sexual health. The questions are different for men and women. The men's one asks if you have had sex with a man in the last 3 months with or without protection. The woman's question asks if you have had sex in the last three months with a man who has ever had sex with another man with or without protection.

My husband is bisexual so has had sex with men in the past but not in the last three months so he answers no and donates blood with no further questions. I have unprotected sex with my husband but because of the way the question is worded I have to say yes which means I get referred to the nurse and have to answer intrusive questions about my sex life when in actual fact its my husbands sex life that it the problem. Its frustrating at least and embarrassing at worst.

I can't be the only one with this problem. And it doesn't seem that it would be that difficult to solve. Who should I email, although I suspect its an issue niche enough for no one to really care.
