Do you bring anything for a play date?

DS is 3 and has been invited for a play date with a girl from his nursery by her nanny. I've never met her parents as the nanny does all the drop offs and pick ups.

Do we bring something along? Like a fruit platter maybe?

I'm hoping they aren't expecting me to drop and run as we've never even met the parents before!

I'm a bit thrown by this as usually I am quite close to the mum so we will have a glass of wine while kids are playing! Grin

I wouldnt normally take anything for a playdate, but would expect to reciprocate.
