Art supplies for a 1 year old

What are the best art and drawing supplies you would recommend for a 1 year old?

I went to the Works and bought her a huge A1 sketch pad then some chubby pencils, odd egg shaped crayons from Amazon and she seems quite happy with them. It’s not exactly art at 1Smile

If you’re on Instagram, have a look at Five Minute Mum and Becky’s Treasure Baskets. Lots of good ideas on there.

I bought a water paint mat, but mine had no interest in it. Play Doh was a bit when he wasn’t eating it...

Exactly like as @suziedoozy suggests. Basic is fine at this stage - paper and crayons. Mine would only ever concentrate for 5 minutes too at that age. By 3-4 we had accumulated a lot of other —glittery shit— craft material and paints etc.
