Lying in the bath eating reheated cookie dough

And I've got the awful post cold tickly cough which is making sleep impossible! Sad any tips? I've had a cup of honey and lemon and I'm hoping the bath will clear my airways a bit. I'm going to be a bloody zombie in the morning if I can't sleep!

Do you take magnesium? Every evening. Helps a lot.

Any old magnesium or does it need to be a certain strength? Hope you're now asleep op 💤

ComeOnEileen11 · 20/09/2020 06:24

Hope you got some sleep in the end op. Tickly coughs are the worst. Are you going to be able to take it easy today after a bad night or do you have work/take care of kids? Flowers

Bath...reheated cookie dough.... I think you've got it covered Grin

I was struggling with the same post cold thickly cough last night. Wish I'd had the good sense to sit in a bath eating reheated cookie dough instead of struggling on in bed!

Maybe vicks rub on chest and on the soles of your feet (then encased in fluffy socks) might help for next time?

dudsville · 20/09/2020 08:48

Is reheated cookie dough a cookie?

Also I second the request for more info on magnesium please.

I took a Piriton and it worked on tickly tonsils. They make my ears tickly too and it worked!

I managed to get to sleep around 5:30am thank god. No work today, got kids but they're a little older now and can manage a couple hours without me being awake. What's this about magnesium @DianaT1969 ?
