So I want to but this as an xmas present. Around 95-100 in the shops.

This is 25£ cheaper....am I being conned or is it legit? It says authorised lego seller on ebay etc and ebay says up to 30% of some lego on their lego page including this one...

I'm scared to buy it and lose out!

looks ok. Scams are usually cheaper, they have good seller feedback, and as long as you pay through ebay/paypal there are safeguards in place.

Thanks i might go for it, and hope I can reclaim if its not real.

I can't work out how its so much cheaper when there are second hand ones for that price. Its 120 at asda...

I just had a quick look. I would say it's legit. Being an 'authorized Lego seller' is an actual thing (if that makes sense) and the seller is selling under a registered company.
I am what's called an AFOL (adult fan of Lego) and I know several authorized Lego sellers in person. I don't know this company name specifically but looking at the information I can see on eBay I reckon it's ok.

Looks fine. Besides they only take PayPal so you're covered if there's any problems

I've bought a few Lego sets on ebay and never had any problems and they've been cheaper than Lego/Amazon

bookmum08 · 19/09/2020 22:19

Yes £120 is the RRP but the set is one of last years range so will be popping up cheaper now.

bookmum08 · 19/09/2020 22:21

Asda might have it at RRP in order to reduce it nearer Xmas. It has to be sold at a higher price for at least 28 days before it can be reduced (legal thing).

PineappleUpsideDownCake · 19/09/2020 22:23

That makes sense re asdas rrp. But everywhere else on google seems to have it at 95!

I wasnt sure if recognised lego seller was a thing either.

Thankyou people in my phone for making a very tight xmas easier!

Its been less than £65 on Amazon earlier this year so quite possible this company has just bought when price was low and reselling at a decent profit.

PineappleUpsideDownCake · 20/09/2020 08:26

Oh wow has it?! I should have been looking earlier. Some places do put prices up for xmas dont they.

I was just surprised that everywhere else currently had it for more (amazons currently close to 100 and the other ebay sellers had it for 10£ more. )

Hopefully all is good. Thankyou :)
