2nd baby gifts

What gifts did you you appreciate for your 2nd/subsequent babies when they were born?

Blankets, gift cards (boots, next, m&s), hamper with baby bath stuff, creams etc x

I usually the get a teething toy as it’s nice to have a new one for a new baby. I’d only get creams, baby bath etc if you know what brands they prefer as they might have a preference from their first. Also things you wouldn’t always buy yourself and might not last for a second - rattle socks is a good one!

Anything really, just the same as with the first.

I found less people were interested in my second (which is fair enough Im not that into other peoples babies either) so it was nice to get little keepsakes etc. as I got soooo many of them with my first.

If the second baby is born in a different season than the first possibly something pertaining to that. Eg a friend had first baby in the summer and second in the winter, I bought her a first size snowsuit for the second as she wouldn't have had that from the first. She was pleased!

Maybe something for the mum as well as the baby. People make less of a fuss second time around but what she's done is just as amazing and difficult as it was the first time around.
