Anyone help with instagram hashtags please ?

I typed out a few hashtags so I could just copy & paste on my Instagram posts. They turn blue so I thought all was ok. I've just clicked on one to try see my photo on the #quote but it's not there! Why is this?

Are you selecting to view recent posts rather than top ones? Also if you're using a popular tag it doesn't take long for your own to get relegated down the feed.
